Blue and Green Sponge Mani

Hello All...I made it throught Monday!!!
Last night I thought "I haven't done a sponge mani in a loonnngggg time", so I did :) And, you know me, I HAD to stamp it!!!

The jury is still out on this one, maybe if I had used a different stamping color???  Anyway, this is it  :)
FYI, my blog will be a year old in November and my birthday is 12-12-12!!! I am planning a giftaway and two companies are sponsoring some gifts for it....I am sooo excited....it is still aways off , I have plenty of time to get the rest of the gifts!!  Have a blessed evening.....Jackie

Good Morning All...hope everyone had an awesome weekend!!   I gave my nails a break over the holiday.....they were happy to be naked for a couple of days  :)

After the base of Orly Wild Wisteria , I stamped with Julep Leighton and Maybelline Color Show Bold Gold.  The image plate used was my new LeaLac-B....

I like the finished product except that the beauty of the Wild Wisteria was lost in the stamping , it is such a gorgeous shade  :(

AIS....Goth...For Emily :)

Good Morning All!!  Today's challenge in Adventures in Stamping is to do a "Goth" mani ....for Emily, a fellow member who LOVES goth!!!
I started with a base coat of SH  Diamond Strength in Deeply Violet, next a coat of Jordana Crystal Glitter.

It was sooo shiny that I ended up adding a matte top coat...

Image plate used was one of the new Bundle Monster plates....BM323, the roses and the barbed wire... I used Julep Leighton for the stamping polish.....

Love these plates, no issues with pick up or stamping  :)
I stamped the roses and it appeared that they didn't show up over my dark base  :(   But with the macro on the camera , they did!!  By the time that I realized this , I had added the barbed wire....still like the outcome!!

Felix The Cat

Good Evening All, I had a very , very busy day!!!  The 1st bday party was a success :)
My "baby" sister, Sherie, had a bday earlier this month....she was in love with Felix the Cat when we were little.  Now that I have my Fun 1 plate, I could do her bday mani!!!  Some of you may not know who Felix is.....

The IP used were SH08 for the paw prints, and Fun1 for Felix.  If you haven't tried the Fab Ur Nails IP's, you are really missing something!!  The Fun1 and 2 are exactly that, alot of  images for fun manis!!!  You can find them here if you are interested or need more info.

That darn metal scraper scratched my IP  :(
Now for the mani....

Happy New Year's Mani

I hope everyone is ready for the "big" night!!  Mine will consist of watching the "Twilight Zone" marathon and eating my black eyed peas at midnight!!!
I wanted a mani  without alot of sparkle , but still said happy new years.
I put on my usual clear base coat and then used  2 coats of  Finger Paints Where Art Renoir?.  I tried to use this polish a long time ago, and HATED  it.  It is thick and hard to apply. So , I decided to take my time and wait awhile between coats.  That worked , and now I like it!!!
I recieved my first Julep Maven box last week and decided to stamp with  one of the polishes that I got, which was Leighton.  It is good for stamping, I am not sure that I , personally, would wear it alone, alittle much for me.
I used  IP Red Angel 110...I love this particular plate.
I placed a dot of Pure Ice Beware in the center of the swirl, and SV and VOILA!! my New Years Eve mani.
