Adventures in Stamping Challenge-Things I Love

Happy Sunday All...today's challenge in AIS is to do a mani that is "something I love".....boy, that could be alot of things!!!  I decided to keep it on the mani level.   I LOVE purple!!!  I used to make my mother sooo mad when I was young, all I wanted to wear was purple clothing  :)

Cast of Characters for today is as follows...
I love this Mash IP too!!!....
Okay, the base coat was NYC China Town....a deep purple with a slight sparkle to it....

And , as you know, I LOVE doing sponge manis!  So , I did a sponge gradient.....

Sorry, didn't see the poor cleanup until now   :(
The final product.......I LOVE IT!!!!!   I hope that you like it too  :)

Have a blessed day.......Jackie

50 Shades of ?????

Hello All...as you can probably tell from the post title, I am reading the 50 Shades of Grey Trilogy  :)  I am sure that you have heard "something" about the books, so I will not give any details!! My mani was inspired by the  book......but it is G rated!!
I started with a sponge gradient using the following ....
I liked it with a matte finish...
Please excuse the chipped tips, I wore this all day and did not wrap them  :(

I used a variety of plates for images that made me think of the book....chains, lips, money, pattern for fishnet or a tie, and the letter G.....
Here it is matte...

And now with a coat of SV....

I think I really like it matte.  If you haven't read the books, don't let the things you read on the net or hear on the tv discouarge you from reading it...It is not as graphic as it is made out to be....I really enjoyed it, and now on the 2nd one  :)
I hope everyone is having a great holiday, and anyone on FB, sorry that I haven't commented on your mani's....it is not working for me today:)  I will give it until tomorrow and may have to make a new FB account.  Has anyone else had this problem, I can't post or comment, but can read and look at everything else!!!!  Thanks for coming by!

Purple Crumpet Fairy Summer Challenge.......Black Cherry!

Good Morning All....Today's post is for the Purple Crumpet Fairy Summer Challenge, my favorite summer color...with a twist at the end!!!
Of course, everyone knows that my favorite color is purple, any shade of purple  :)

This is Confetti Belle of the Ball, I just love this shade :)
I have been seeing lots of bloggers using a different technique for sponging, putting stripes of polish on the sponge and then applying to your nail....so I decided this was a good time to try it!!
The colors I used  and the type of sponge...

Here is how it turned out....I really liked it and the technique was awesome!!

I messed up my ring finger during cleanup...so you know what that meant....STAMPING!!!!
I used Mash IP 45, the cherries...then there was the question of what color to stamp with???? I knew I didn't want purple or white, sooooo what about black......black cherries!!!

I am really liking this mani!!! The first 2 pics are inside the light box, the last one was outside with some sunlight.

Well, I hope you liked my black cherries!!  Have a wonderful day  :)

Adventures in Stamping Challenge-Unnatural Animals

Good Evening All, hope everyone had a wonderful sunday, back to the grind for me tomorrow  :(
Today,s challenge in Adventures in Stamping was unnatural animal.....interesting huh??!!!  I did my base for it yesterday, you can see how I did it here.  I loved the sponged base, but then I stamped it, hated it, sooooo I redid the base, yes...I redid it  :(
In my head I wanted to stamp with just a matte top coat.  It worked for some, but I couldn't get a consistent stamp.  So I opted to stamp with Pure Ice New Lilac, which stamped like a charm, just wasn't what I had in mind.  The first one I stamped with Kleancolor Metallic Jungle.  The IP used was BM223.

I guess they turned out alright, but I am determined to stamp something with a matte top coat!!!   Thanks for stopping by, have a great evening  :)
