What is this image?????

Hello All....sorry that I haven't posted in a couple of days.....flu got me....I can stay up for a little while and then have to lay back down:(  I did manage to paint my nails earlier and then stamped them later on.
The Cast of Characters......

Does anyone know what this image is????? It is from the XL Cheeky D plate.   I kept looking at it and for the life of me cannot figure it out...is it an animal print or what????  Well, whatever it is, I used it today :)

The Base coat of Orly  After Party was pretty easy to apply, alittle thick, but I really didn't have any problems.

I got out my SH Color Quick pen in  Chrome Turquoise to use for the stamping, I had forgotten how easy these are to use.   I also used the "tape " trick for cleaning off my stamper....love it....no mess and I feel like I am prolonging the life of the stamper....the acetone has to be gradually breaking it down chemically!

The finished product...

Whatcha think??? I like it, I just wish I knew what the heck it was!!!  Have a blessed evening all, I am off to the couch for awhile..........Jackie

Silver and Gold

Good Morning All...hope everyone had an awesome weekend!!   I gave my nails a break over the holiday.....they were happy to be naked for a couple of days  :)
Cast Of Characters.....

After the base of Orly Wild Wisteria , I stamped with Julep Leighton and Maybelline Color Show Bold Gold.  The image plate used was my new LeaLac-B....

I like the finished product except that the beauty of the Wild Wisteria was lost in the stamping , it is such a gorgeous shade  :(

Have a blessed day...........Jackie

Adventures in Stamping Challenge-Something I "Learnt" From AIS

Hello All.....gorgeous Sunday here, time for the challenge in AIS.  Today's mani is based on something that I "learnt" from the members of AIS.......there is soooo much that it is hard to  tell them all!!!
I learned from the basics up, I joined shortly after my "addiction" started  :)    I learned about base/top coats, cleaning up, cuticle care, different polishes , the polish addicts terminology,  sooooo much.
The thing that I love the most that I "learnt" was how to do a gradient mani, the member  most responsible for this was Laurie of Dressed Up Digits ,  she does the most Awesome gradients, check her out if you haven't already!!
Now down to business....The Cast of Characters....

 The base....

 Now the gradient....

And the final product, which I LOVE........

Hope you like it, thanks for letting me ramble today, have a blessed day......Jackie

Snaaaakkkkeee!!!

Good Morning All!!!  Anyone that is a gamer knows that you hear this quite often in Metal Gear Solid.....my son is a big fan and I have spent alot of hours hearing this!!!
Cast of Characters...

My base is 2 coats of Orly Buried Alive,  I just love this!!!.....

I used the XL Cheeky Plate D, one of the snakeskin images and Konad Blue with Maybelline Bold Gold for the stamping.....the pics don't do it justice, it is really pretty IRL.....

I am on the mend now, had some surgery to drain the infection from my face yesterday, I know sounds gross, but I feel alot better today, aways to go, but better!!!
Thanks for stopping in this morning, have a blessed day.......Jackie

Here Kitty Kitty....

Hi All.....so , how is your saturday going???  One of the members of Adventures In Stamping did a mani using saran wrap to "sponge" with....that is the only way I can describe it....it is like sponging but with saran wrap. Anyway, it was beautiful.....I tried it today and it is soooo easy and turned out pretty, like it was marbled.
I did 2 base coats of SC Creme Pink.  I was out of saran wrap , soooo, being the person I am, I improvised!!! I used a piece of the bread wrapper....I know...I know.....but it worked :)
Here is the Cast of Characters that I used....
After using the saran...ooops I mean bread wrapper.....
It actually looks alot like another base that I did here.  I used Fun 2 Image Plate with Konad black...

I also added a coat of Northern Lights Gold....Now the finished product.....

Inside, and now outside....
Hope you like my kitty nails...have a blessed night.....Jackie

Adventures in Stamping Challenge-Red and Black

Good Morning All...so good to get back into a routine again!!!  As you can see I changed the look of the blog a bit....what do you think, is it a keeper or should I redo it????
Today challenge in AIS is to do a mani using Red and Black...two of my favorite colors!!!
The Cast of Characters for this .....
The base was one coat of SH Insta-Dri Rapid Red....it was to orangey , so I sponged the rest of the reds over it......
Image Plate Mash-39 was used for the stamping....I think that it looks like fish scales or a dragon!!
Now, for the final product....My Red Dragon!!!

Hope you like it!  I am working on the "gift away" today....I want to make it easy, you shouldn't have to work  hard for a gift!!!   Hope you a have a blessed day......Jackie

4TH of July

Good Morning.....It is HOTTTTTT here, so why not a 4TH of July mani today!!!
Of course , I used a clear base coat and then 2 coats of SH Insta-Dri in Rapid Red....FYI...this is also good for stamping  :)
Konad White and Cheeky CH5 for the stamping.  Then I wanted to get some blue on there, and realized that I really don't have a "good " dark blue  :(  Note to  self....fix that!!!!
So I pulled out a glitter blue that I have and the name is rubbed off on it...so I can't tell you what it is called!!  :(
Anyway, I used a dotting tool and dotted over some of the small stars .  Oh, prior to stamping I used a coat of Jordana Crystal Glitter......now for the pics.....

Does anyone know what this blue is called???

The final product.....

Thanks for stopping in....be sure to check in tomorrow...late....I am doing the Color Run/Walk for the Ronald McDonald House...and doing my nails for the event  :)   Have a safe and blessed day...drink lots of water if you are out in the heat!!!

Purple Crumpet Fairy Summer Challenge...Jungle Mani

Good Morning All!!!  Today's challenge in the Purple Crumpet Fairy Summer Challenge is a jungle or parrot mani......I chose jungle.  :)
My base coat is SH Insta-Dri in Chartreuse Chase, a nice shimmery green. I decided to sponge to get the effect of a jungle.  The Cast of Characters is big.....

I visited the Mayan Ruins in the jungles of Guatemala while on a mission trip, I was trying to recreate what I saw there!  The Ip's used were BM15 and SH22....

I remember seeing the little lizards scurrying all over the place while walking in the jungle.....
The finished product.....

I am pleased with it, but I don't know that I would wear it for very long!!   LOL
Have a wonderfully blessed day  :)

Purple Crumpet Fairy Summer Challenge...Ladybirds.....in Black

Good Afternoon All.....todays challenge in th Purple Crumpet Fairy Summer Challenge is LadyBirds/LadyBugs. I decided to take mine another whole direction....and do it in black.  Yes I know there are no black lady bugs with black spots, but in my world they do exist....here's proof   :)
Cast Of Characters....

I painted a base coat of CG Near Dark, one coat of Northern Lights,  black french tips with SC Black on Black.  The lines and dots were also with the SC.  Then I used Matte-ly in Love to matte the tips and the dots.  Milani White in the Spot and Orly Sweet Peacock for the eyes.  The pinkie bug has an eye "issue" today  :)

There's my proof of black spotted black lady bugs!!!  Have a great afternoon.......Jackie
