Blue and Green Sponge Mani

Hello All...I made it throught Monday!!!
Last night I thought "I haven't done a sponge mani in a loonnngggg time", so I did :) And, you know me, I HAD to stamp it!!!

The jury is still out on this one, maybe if I had used a different stamping color???  Anyway, this is it  :)
FYI, my blog will be a year old in November and my birthday is 12-12-12!!! I am planning a giftaway and two companies are sponsoring some gifts for it....I am sooo excited....it is still aways off , I have plenty of time to get the rest of the gifts!!  Have a blessed evening.....Jackie

Sparkling Sinful Colors

Hello All.....I have Sparkles for you today!!!!
Last night I decided to do another gradient , but with a little twist....I just put "blobs" of polish on the sponge and put that on my nail, it gave an interesting effect!

Cleanup was terrible, so I slathered lotion on my cuticles and went to bed!!!  This morning I put on a coat of Northern Lights before I stamped with Konad Black and XL Cheeky D IP...

Now after the stamping both outside and inside....

It matched my scrub top perfectly today!!!  Speaking of scrubs....I had to have my tooth removed today at work.....after all that work to save it  :(

My Grey Sweater

Good Morning All....it is a wonderfully cool morning here....made me think of fall and sweaters....hence today's mani.....My Grey Sweater!!

I started with a gradient mani last night and then stamped this morning....

Now the stamping....Doesn't it look like a sweater????? LOL

I can see this stamp being used to do a mani of an ugly Christmas sweater!!!

Fade to Black

Good Morning All!!  I am trying to get back into posting in the mornings.....seems to work better for me, evenings are soooo busy, and with Operation Jackie in effect, I hope I am exercising and doing something fun!!
First, the 200 Follower Gift Away is closed.  I will do the Rafflecopter thing and verify.  Winner will be posted on Friday.
Secondly, my mani for today is a skittle....I like this!!  I forgot to get picks of the polishes, I think  these are the ones that I used...I did this last week.  SC Black on Black, CG Stone Cold, SC Slate, NYC  Sidewalkers, and CG Pelican Gray.

AIS...Hot Hot Hot

Good Afternoon All......The FB Group Adventures in Stamping's challenge for today is Hot Hot Hot, which is quite appropriate for the weather here today  :(    
This is the second mani this week with the theme of "hot"...the last one did not turn out too well...this one I am much more pleased with....
I opted to do a base of NYC Lavender Cupcake and then sponge with  3 other colors....

I went with one of my favorites for the stamping.... M63

I really like it, could have something to do with it being purple  LOL

At least that is what my granddaughter said this is called!!  Good morning all...today I have a blue Cheebra  :)

Purple Crumpet Fairy Challenge, Pink Polka Dots

Good Morning All!!  Today is pink....again :(   I feel like I am back at Valentines Day with this mani !!!
This is for the Purple Crumpet Fairy Challenge.  Today was to be pink polka dots....when I saw that I almost didn't do it, but I am starting to like "some" pinks!!
I chose  CG Designer Satin as my base.  For the "dots" , I used my dotting instrument with CG  Go Go Pink and NYC #242.  I could not see myself wearing pink dots all over my nails, so I did somewhat of a french tip.

Happy Valentine's Day to All!!!  Does everyone have plans for tonight???  I will be babysitting  so the younger ones of the family can celebrate  :)
I did this mani for Purple Crumpet Fairy Challenge...the spring one.  Check out all the manis  here.
I liked it so much that I decided to do my post for today with it.....I am kinda worried about myself...it is PINK....pink is right up there with green for me!

My Cast of Characters for this mani  were NYC  Uptown, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Strobe Light. Using BM 09 IP with the Sally Hansen Color Quik Pen in gold. I free handed the french tips.

Purple Zebra

Good Afternoon All!!! As you know , I belong to the FB group  Adventures in Stamping.  Todays challenge was to use a plate ending in 7......I don't have very many of those  :(
So I went to the tried and true, Zebra Print!!
My base coat is my new China Glaze Spontaneous, which is nice and cremey, very good application, plus it is a shade of purple!!!
Then I sponged, I am on a sponging kick, with the following: NYC Uptown, China Glaze For Audrey, and Sally Hansen Xtreme Mellow Yellow. That was topped with a coat of  Northern Lights, I love that stuff!!!

The image plate used was Konad M57, zebra, with NYC Skin Tight Denim for the stamping.
I was only going to do one hand, but I really liked and now am sporting both hands for a couple of days!!

My First, and maybe last Crackle Mani

Hello all, how is everyone today??  I had intended to post last night, but I suddenly came down with that yucky stomache virus  :(   I am feeling better today and decided to try something new.  Well, at least new to me,  the crackle mani.  I have just had a hard time  with the crackle craze.  I found a crackle polish on clearance at
Sallys and decided to try it.  China Glaze Cracked Concrete.

First I  placed my usual base coat and then 3 coats of a very pretty NYC Chinatown...I just love this shade.

 I then added one coat of  The China Glaze Cracked Concrete, and SV.

Not too bad for crackle...I guess.
