Glitterrrrrr!!!

Hello All, I know this is a late post...I just took a lazy day today!!!
I decided to try out some CG glitter that the "Queen " gave me many months ago....Lorelei's Tiara....wow, it is glittery....I am not much on glitter , so I had to figure out a way to "tone"it down  :(

Cast of Characters....

 I started with a coat of Confetti, Lonesome Dove , and then 2 coats of the China Glaze, it also needed 2 coats of topcoat to tame down the glitter.

 Glitter is sooo hard for me to get a good pic of....

I finished up using the chain link looking image on Mash 41 IP and Konad Black.

 The finished product....my decision is out on this...it doesn't look tooo bad IRF.....I went to pick up the "Princess" and it reminded me of a nail sticker in the light coming through the car window!

Adventures in Stamping Challenge-Pulsating Pink and Purple

Hello All, I know I have been MIA...again :(   Still dealing with the swelling in my face, but I could not pass up today's AIS challenge, being that I  LOVE  purple, and kinda like pink!!!
I chose to do a gradient as my base.....

The base, I liked this sooo much that I didn't want to stamp over it :(  I sat there forever trying to decide what to stamp....

Finally, I decided on  IP SH20 and Maybelline Color Show  Amethyst Ablaze.....

I am so pleased with this, that I think I am going to wear it for a couple of days......very unusual for me!!!

Adventures in Stamping Challenge-Can't Wait For Fall

Hello All....hope everyone is having a good day!  Sorry so late in posting, but my eye was almost swollen shut this morning due to some dental work that I had done on Thursday and I couldn't see very well :(  It is better now, thank goodness!!!
Today's challenge in AIS was to do a mani based on "Can't Wait For Fall".  Fall is my favorite season, but I just couldn't decide what to do, that along with a problem with my vision!!!  This is what I came up with.

I really liked this, hated to stamp it :(

I used IP Mash-50 and Konad Black and SH Insta Dri Jumpin' Jade to stamp...

The final product.....

It turned out "okay"....there is always tomorrow!!  Have a blessed evening...I am off to take more pain meds and watch Hunger Games!!!!

Good Evening All.....I spent the day doing mani's for when I am in Chicago buying gifts for the giveaway!!!  I also was "lurking" around on blogs and while reading  nickysnailsnstuff, who, by the way is awesome, check her out, there was a link for a FB tutorial on 3 D manicures. I had never heard of this, so I took a look and HAD to try it  :)

Base coat of Confetti Lonsome Dove and  BM310 using Konad Black...

I wasn't too worried about any bare areas since I was going to be stamping over it.....
Then I stamped BM323 using Konad white. After it dried I painted in the image of the rose with SH Love Rocks, being careful not to go outside of the stamped image.  After that was completely dry I added topcoat in case I "messed" up!!!  Then I stamped over the image again using Konad Black.  The hard part about this was lining it up again.  There were some areas that I didn't quite get it lined up, so I just took a brush and some of the Konad Black and filled it in.  This is how it turned out....pretty cool I think.  I want to try again with a different image combo  :)

There was some smearage, but it looks fine  IRL.  You should watch to tutorial and give it a try!  Thanks for coming by tonight....have a blessed evening!     Jackie

Purple Crumpet Fairy Summer Challenge.......Black Cherry!

Good Morning All....Today's post is for the Purple Crumpet Fairy Summer Challenge, my favorite summer color...with a twist at the end!!!
Of course, everyone knows that my favorite color is purple, any shade of purple  :)

This is Confetti Belle of the Ball, I just love this shade :)
I have been seeing lots of bloggers using a different technique for sponging, putting stripes of polish on the sponge and then applying to your nail....so I decided this was a good time to try it!!
The colors I used  and the type of sponge...

Here is how it turned out....I really liked it and the technique was awesome!!

I messed up my ring finger during cleanup...so you know what that meant....STAMPING!!!!

I used Mash IP 45, the cherries...then there was the question of what color to stamp with???? I knew I didn't want purple or white, sooooo what about black......black cherries!!!

 I am really liking this mani!!! The first 2 pics are inside the light box, the last one was outside with some sunlight.

Week 16 of 52 Week Challenge, Dotticure

Good Evening All, I am behind on my 52 Week Challenge, so I decided to do one tonight...the Dotticure.
 I had this bright idea to do a tone on tone dotticure, sounds good right???  But it was hard to see with a top coat, so I matted it.  See what you think.....

With a fast dry top coat....hard to see isn't it!!!

Now with a matte coat.....

I decided that I liked the matted one...what about you???

Which Way Wednesday

Good Evening All, a very late post...sorry :(   I guess it is allergies that have me feeling soooo yucky :(
Any way, here is my Which Way Wednesday Mani!!
 I started with a base coat of Confetti Lonesome Dove, and stamped with IP BM201

.

I really liked the subtle tone on tone with this!!

Then I decided to double stamp with Cheeky  CH11

And finally ,I freehanded black french tips!!

So, what do you think ...Which Way???

Blue Bandana

Good Morning All, hope you are having a Thrilling Thursday!!
I have been wanting to use the paisley, or amoeba, image on the Cheeky XL-I plate, so today I did it!!
After doing it , I thought that it looked like a blue bandana!!

The second one I used as kind of a "filler", there was too much "dead" surface on the nail.  I also used alittle "bling" today!!
