Purple and Black Dry Marble

Happy Friday!!  I am especially happy....my followers are showing up on this blog again!!!!  I did this mani last week and did something really bad...I forgot to write down the polishes that I used. :(  I am sooo sorry.   I got my inspiration for this mani from http://robinmosesnailart.blogspot.com/.  She  is AWESOME, and really fun to watch on her videos.  This is the video that inspired me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlK0yrIOq4c

Although my design goes down further on nail, I still like it.  It is much easier than a water marble.

I hope everyone has a great weekend.  I will be putting up Christmas decorations, and then a Christmas mani!! Hope to see you all back here again, thanks for coming by.

WnW Diamond in the Rough

Hello all, I hope everyone had a good day.  Last night I decided that I needed something "sparkely" for work today....so I picked out WnW Diamond in the Rough. It's really easy to apply, and sooo many colors show up in the sunlight!  My bf made me a makeshift light box, and it really  made a difference in my photos, especially since it is so dark when I get home now. :(

I started with my clear base coat, and then 2 coats of NYC Sidewalkers, which went on very smooth.  I put that on all but an accent nail on both hands. I painted two coats of the WnW Diamond in the Rough on the accent nails .The image plate I used was RA 102 with  LA  Art Deco in black.  I have found that this is excellent for stamping, give it a try!  I decided that the stamping needed "something"...so I dotted areas on the stamping with the WnW.  Topped everything off with Sally Hansen Hardener and a quik dry. I like it!!!

Cogs

Good Morning All!!!  I did this mani  about a week ago and was very pleased with it, I will do it again!  After a clear base coat, I did one good coat of Sinful Colors Black on Black.  Then I used ip BM03.  I decided to use all China Glaze for my stamping, as follows: For Audrey, Pelican Grey, and Platinum Silver.  I think that it turned out pretty cool. :)  Thank you for stopping in and taking a look.  Also thank you to those that have given me the honor of your following me, I really appreciate it.  And the comments....thank you, it is so nice to see that someone will take the time to tell what they think.  Have a good day!!

Peppermints

I had a chance to use my new Red Angel stamping plates, and I really like them!  The images seem to be more deeply etched and pick up the polish very easily.  I decided to do my first Christmas Mani.

I used Essie No Chips Ahead as my clear base coat, then 2 good coats of Orly Star Spangled, which i absolutely am in love with. It went on very smoothly, although it had a long drying time.  Then I stamped the swirly pattern on the RA110 ip using Konad special polish white.  Then ended with a coat of Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Hardener and a coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri.  I did not want to chance this one chipping, I think it is very pretty.!!!!

This is the Orly Star Spangled by itself, pretty  isn't it?

And now stamped...when my granddaughter saw them she said "they look like peppermints", hence the name of this post!  Hope you all like them, as always, comments and suggestions are appreciated. Thanks for stopping in  :)

Busy, Busy, Busy!!!

Wow...it has been such a crazy, but good crazy, weekend!  Things are starting to get back to the ole grind :(  I received my new Red Angel stamping plates yesterday...and I love them.  Alot of different designs.  I have used them on my nails today...but no photos yet, will post those later today. You can purchase the plates at Amazon .com for $11.99 plus shipping....http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005VX8S4G/ref=oh_o00_s00_i00_details

But for now , here is a mani that I did on my daughter, Lauren. She chose her colors and stamping image. Clear base coat,  2 coats of China Glaze Pelican Grey. Then I did a sponge gradient using China Glaze For Audrey, and White on White. She chose to use ip M72, the kinda "shatter" looking one.  And then we ended with a coat of SV.  She loved it!!!

See you later today with my first Christmas Mani!!!
