Zombies

Good Evening All....tonights challenge in Crumpet's Nail Tarts is to do a Zombie mani.
My mani is alitte "outside" the box again. The Princess and I were playing around with our pics on Picmonkey, if you don't know what that is....it is a free photo editing program.  You do not have to download it to your computer, just upload your pic, edit it and save to your computer.  Anyway, they have these really cool effects for halloween. We made some scary looking pics , and that is what I based my mani on.
Cast Of Characters...
I chose to do a sponge mani...it really made it look gross and scary with these colors!!!
Now for the final product, and then I will show you the inspirational pics.....if you are easily grossed out, don't look!!!

Now
comes
the
scary
Zombies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aren't these the grossest pics you have ever seen????  We had sooooo much fun doing these.  Check out Picmonkey...it is awesome!   Have a blessed evening...............Jackie

It's A Girl!!!

Good Evening All!!  I have sooo much rambling in my head to tell you about tonight  :)
First of all , I did a special mani for the baby shower of my daughter on saturday......I have named them "The Duchess, and the Little Lady In Waiting"  :)
The Duchess does not like pink....wonder where she got that from....so I went with Orly Wild Wisteria as the base.  IP"s BM-307 and SH03 for the stamping...

I used Konad Special polishin white, pink, yellow, and lavender.....
The finished product.....

I also wanted to share a few pics of the shower....baby showers are such a happy event!!!

 The "Duchess" and the "Princess"!!

My entire little family  :)
And, if you are interested....The Princess sang a special song for The Duchess......
Sorry that it is not better quality....I am just learning about the videos!!!
Thanks for taking the time to look at my family...I love them!!!  Have a blessed evening.......Jackie

Adventures In Stamping Challenge....Metallics

Good Evening All.....sorry, I have been MIA...again....But I  have a good reason this time!!!!
I am going to be a "MeMa" again in about a month, and we had a shower for  "The Duchess and The Little Lady In Waiting".  I did a mani for the occasion....but that is for tomorrows post  :)
Today I have a mani for AIS.....Metallics.  I did not realize that I had soooo many metallic polishes....it was hard to decide :(

The Cast Of Characters.....

And my All Time Favorite Image.... I could use this swirl image all the time!!!

The base coat was the metallic....SC Precious Metal...

I stamped with the Revlon Royal, but it couldn't be seen, if I am going to stamp, I want it to be SEEN!!!

Soooo, I stamped again , using the tried and true, but messy, Konad Black......

And outside, not much sun  :(.......

I am happy with it, hope you like it too!!!
Tomorrow along with the shower mani and post , I have a short video of  the "Princess"  singing Christina Aguilera's "Hurt".....I think she is awesome, but I am a proud MeMa!!!!
Have a blessed evening everyone!!!            Jackie

Crumpets Nail Tarts Halloween Challenge...Black Cats

Hello All!!!  The challenge for tonight is from Crumpet's Nail Tarts.......Black Cats.
I decided to think "outside" the Halloween box for this one!!!  I had seen an article about black tigers and the wheels started turning!!!
Here is what one looks like

I got the info from here. It is an interesting article, you should check it out!!!
Anyway.....The Cast of Characters....

I started with black and then used a matte coat, on the accent nail I used Stone Cold, which I forgot to put in the Cast of Characters :(  I also matted that.
Image from Mash 38 used in black , and on the accent nail I used black, white and silver.  In my readings I found that the male Black Tiger has these colors and the females are all black......why are the males always prettier in the animal world????

The finished product....

I liked it, I will wear this one again  I think!!!  Make sure that you check out the rest of the mani's in this challlenge...they are awesome  :)   Have a blessed evening!!      Jackie

Llama Nails .....The letter D

Good Evening all...the challenge in Llama Nails for tonight is to do a mani based on the letter "D".
I had a hard time figuring out what to do!!  I did not want to do the typical , dog or dragon or dots....nothing wrong with them...I just wanted something different!
I finally decided to try something new for me...a drag mani.  Welllllllll,  I can't say that I am very good at this   LOL....but I tried.
Cast of Characters......

I started with a base coat of the LA Colors Color Craze  "Edgy"....a very pretty color , but very sheer...took 3-4 coats and was still kinda "see through" on my nails.

I then used the other two colors, placed a dot of each on my nail....and proceeded to "drag" the colors across my nail using a small dotting tool.....

It turned out okay for a first try, I will definitely try it again!!
Have a blessed evening...I am off to do my black cat mani for tomorrow!!!    Jackie
