Purple Crumpet Fairy Summer Challenge...Jungle Mani

Good Morning All!!!  Today's challenge in the Purple Crumpet Fairy Summer Challenge is a jungle or parrot mani......I chose jungle.  :)
My base coat is SH Insta-Dri in Chartreuse Chase, a nice shimmery green. I decided to sponge to get the effect of a jungle.  The Cast of Characters is big.....

I visited the Mayan Ruins in the jungles of Guatemala while on a mission trip, I was trying to recreate what I saw there!  The Ip's used were BM15 and SH22....

I remember seeing the little lizards scurrying all over the place while walking in the jungle.....
The finished product.....

I am pleased with it, but I don't know that I would wear it for very long!!   LOL

Which Way Wednesday....A Day Late :(

Good Evening All, no it is not wednesday, but thursday....and my Which Way  Mani is late  :(
So sorry......My base coat was Milani Dark Coffee, I LOVE this shade, looks good enough to eat!!

I used Milani White on the Spot to stamp with IP BM201...

Here is how it looked.... a little "busy" for me... I don't like it this way :(

I found some of the scrapbooking scissors on clearance for $1.50...decided to try them....

It needed something.....
Dots!!!

There it is.....I would say this week is a fail....there is always next week.....have a blessed evening!!!!!

Adventures in Stamping Challenge-Stamping over Glitter

Good Evening, or good night...it is late I know.  Busy day, I hope everyone had a good one  :)
Todays challenge in Adventures in Stamping was to stamp over glitter.
I used one of my new Jordana's for the base....Mardis Gras, I will have to use this again so you can see how pretty it is alone. I added a coat of NYC Starry Silver Glitter, and finally a light coat of WnW Fast Dry FushciaRama...

Here is how it looked before the stamping...

Kinda pretty huh???
I used IP CH16  with Konad Pink....

Now the final product....

Purple Crumpet Fairy Summer Challenge...Retro...60's

Hello All...well it was a rough start with all the problems on Blogspot effecting all us bloggers...but all is good now  :)
Todays challenge on PCFSC was to do summer love, retro, or hippie.  I chose to do retro, although it could be hippie too!
A friend of my daughter, AKA, the Queen ...and my friend too... is living in Canada , working for a few months. She sent me some nail mail!! Six bottles of Jordana ....I didn't have any of this brand until today :)
I used one of them as my base today, Mellow Yellow.

I did a sponge on top ...imagine that !!I chose to use SC Neons in Irish Green, Big Daddy, and Creme Pink. This time I used a regular makeup sponge...

The base turned out pretty I think...

Now to make it look "retro" , I used  my arch enemy Ip XL Cheeky B....I have sooo many problems with that IP  :(   Konad Black was used for the stamping.....

Purple Crumpet Fairy Summer Challenge...Ladybirds.....in Black

Good Afternoon All.....todays challenge in th Purple Crumpet Fairy Summer Challenge is LadyBirds/LadyBugs. I decided to take mine another whole direction....and do it in black.  Yes I know there are no black lady bugs with black spots, but in my world they do exist....here's proof   :)
Cast Of Characters....

 I painted a base coat of CG Near Dark, one coat of Northern Lights,  black french tips with SC Black on Black.  The lines and dots were also with the SC.  Then I used Matte-ly in Love to matte the tips and the dots.  Milani White in the Spot and Orly Sweet Peacock for the eyes.  The pinkie bug has an eye "issue" today  :)

Which Way Wednesday

Good Evening All...It's Wednesday :)

Tonight I have a base of Orly Swizzle Stick, yes... I DO remember that I don't like pink!   But this is sooo pretty that I can't resist it  :)

I used Mash IP 39 with Konad White and Pink for the stamping....

This is how it turned out... I wore it to work this way today!

So , tonight I added a Chevron shaped french tip using a guide and SH Black Heart and a tiny pink gem....

So what do you think????Which way do you like it, I like the end result. It is amazing that a few months ago, pink was my least favorite shade of polish....kinda like it now !!!!

Sinful Colors Athens as the base and Cheeky CH9 IP.....

This image reminds me of the Lottery Logo......maybe I should try it using those colors!!!
